It has a new system CU-VD10 that can directly burn videos to DVD without computer, but we didn't know the details of the system at that time. Now let's take a look at it together.

CU-VD10 uses the USB 2 port and connects with the Everio camera (GZ-MG77/MG67), then it can directly burn the video captured by the latter into DVD (does not support the later dubbing code), supports the compact disc format DVD-/RW, if the file is too large, it can also be divided into many disk records, but does not support DVD-R DL and DVD-RW DL.

From appearance, CU-VD10 is very much like an ordinary DVD burner.

In fact, CU-VD10 is an external DVD recording system for JVC Everio series cameras.

CU-VD10 can be controlled by Everio remote control, supporting 8 times DVD-R/4 times DVD-RW speed recording. In general, DVD burn time is about one hour. The shortest time in video clip (ultra clear format) takes thirty minutes; besides, it can also be viewed on TV connected to a camera, except for DVD video recorded on Everio LCD screen, but CU-VD10 itself has no built-in video output function, that is, video files on Everio can not be viewed through CU-VD10 output.

When using, opening the hatch on CU-VD10 will be operated by camera loading.

CU-VD10 does not need to connect to the computer interface when burning DVD.

In connection with the computer, CU-VD10 also uses USB 2 interface, with Power2Go 4 burning software to support Windows 2000/XP operating system. The external maximum size is 161 * 237 * 58mm (wide * thick * high), and the weight is about 1.4kg.

The DVD file burned in CU-VD10 can be replayed through Everio camera.

CU-VD10 was sold at the same time with GZ-MG77/MG67 in mid March, and the selling price was about $200, about RMB.
