Q: in the more than 10 years that you have been in Zhongguancun for the past few years, you can not only do the technical talents that programmers need, but also need to be a CEO strategist. Do you have both of them?
A: I believe that different industries and different things are logically interlinked. I wasn't originally a programmer, I was learning electric circuits. The most interesting thing in middle school is the circuit.
Later, I began to pay attention to software. I think the prospect is good. In the future, the industry will be explosive. Later in the University, I will slowly turn to programmers. I believe I am also a good programmer.
CEO is because I don't think a good environment or platform can accommodate a good technology. It may be more important to be a manager than a programmer.
In the process of pformation, I saw many similarities.
From a metaphysical point of view, these things are all in all directions.
Q: there are countless talents who can go to Zhongguancun with you. Do you think you are a hero in that situation?
A: People's development depends on what opportunities the environment provides, opportunities are different, the outcome is different, there are sufficient opportunities and willing to learn, such a person is easy and everlasting.
My learning in Peking University gives me more opportunities to contact Zhongguancun and contact computers. It is also because of the development of Zhongguancun that Zhongguancun's entrepreneurial environment is the earliest and the best in the country.
From the new world, the four profit side to Sina and click technology now, I have stepped all the way to the right place, making me feel that the whole resource is in place because of my deployment.
Besides, I have good luck. At the critical moment, there are always people to help me. Different stages have different friends and teachers help me.
Everyone gave me different opportunities and different help.
Q: do successful entrepreneurs attribute their success to opportunities? Is it modest? After all, the opportunity is not for you.
A: I think a couple of things can tell me that I am very lucky to have stepped on every point. When I click technology, I recall that over the past ten years' work experience, almost nothing has not been applied and verified here. Even a lot of people are angry at me. It is an opportunity to come out of the Chinese star, including Sina and looking back from today's perspective.
If I do not come out of sina, I will not have click technology today. I will always be stuck in Sina's work day after day, without subsequent creativity.
Q: since graduating from University, there has been no further career study. Do you think that you have enough knowledge in your management?
A: I have been fortunate to experience this process from Xintiandi venture, four way venture to the later joint venture acquisition and Sina. This experience has given me the best learning process. If the current situation is a hero, this experience is called the trend of the times. I often meet with senior figures in this industry and tell me that you have learned more than last MBA in recent years.
And it's rare to have such a good opportunity for you to practice, someone who pays for you and someone who works for you.
Q: it's time for heroes to create the trend of the times. Is this what we want to do today?
A: there must be an interactive process in the development of enterprises and industries. If you do this first, gather energy from all sides and do it yourself.
The "graduation" in Sina Q: the lesson of the three venture is a progressive relationship?
A: No, the two venture is really a lesson from leaving the new world, and the second lesson is not a lesson at all.
It is logical to leave Sina, but there is only a little accident.
At that time, it was indeed an adventure. After the appearance of sina, the subsequent handling method was also handy, and there was no feeling of being caught off guard.
After only a month after leaving Sina, he has been working on clicking technology wholeheartedly.
At that time, I told others that I didn't believe it was so fast.
I thought I would go to court like autumn chrysanthemum. I spent a month learning about the cause and effect of the whole thing. I asked the lawyer to arrange the countermeasures. After a month, I completely withdrew. At that time, I felt that I could get away from it and do what I wanted to do.
Q: why is the new world's entrepreneurial process a real and profound lesson for you?
A: the experience of Xintiandi tells me that I can't hide from things. People who engage in technology are often confronted with many problems. The usual response is to hide. Technicians always want to find a good environment. Good boss, if these two things can't be satisfied, there is often a sense of loss. If the boss can't, I will quit. In fact, it is a kind of escape. The typical mentality of technical personnel is not to spend more energy and energy in the face of people's problems.
But when the ideal state does not exist in the environment at that time, it is only for oneself to create the environment. To create means that you have to face up to any problems and come up with countermeasures. This is a change of world outlook.
Q: how does this pformation penetrate into subsequent actions?
A: it was a turning point for me at that time. The turning point was very dangerous. It might go to extremes, or go abroad to find a suitable environment, or to abandon the original intention of being a man. I still stayed and continued to do it. The principles I insisted on did not change. I bet myself to stay in China and make a relatively idealized company in the US way. After making this pition, I would see my condition for the four sides, that is, I hope to build an ideal platform for myself. I really try my best to realize my idea.
Q: why do you think it's the right time to leave Sina in the middle of 2001?
A: leaving from sina is a very natural change. It is far from a profound lesson from outside imagination.
From my personal point of view, I can say that the best time to leave is half a year ago, because Sina has been carrying on a lot of baggage from scratch since 1993. Sina is definitely not my place to stay. It is too tired to carry such a burden. It has been carrying 100% of the responsibility in 3% of the shares. This responsibility is too asymmetrical, and I spend a lot of energy in coordinating the internal contradictions.
At the end of 2000, the domestic companies should go through the whole process from entrepreneurship, financing, merger and acquisition to listing. At that time, for me personally, I had graduated. If it is not the cause of the general trend, it will probably take the initiative to resign at the end of 2000.
Q: from now on, is the timing of departure a summary for you or the result that has been carefully considered at that time?
A: I thought about leaving Sina at the end of 1998. When I was merged with Huayuan, I volunteered to be inappropriate CEO because I was too tired to carry this burden. If we took the opportunity to find a suitable person, as CEO, I would be able to fade out and do my own things. Then I had to go back for a few months, but found that I couldn't come back, and I found that if I didn't come back, Sina's listing would be very difficult.
Q: why do you insist on leaving Sina after the Sina incident?
A: if there is no other reason, my best time to leave is at the end of 2000. At the beginning of 2001, I insisted on leaving in the middle of 2001. On the one hand, because of the bad trend, a lot of news brought confusion to the judgment level, and a lot of gossip spread all over the sky, which made the judgement of sina's prospects a lot of differences, which was close to hysteria.
Second, when I did a more radical move, I did a major operation on Sina, and made it possible for me to continue to stay in Sina, unable to do it and finding another opportunity to leave.
At that time, I took a lot of action, a little too strong, and finally caused a rebound, after these actions will respond, I expected, but the result and way of reaction deviated from the track I expected.
From now on, God is not thin to me, and the way of leaving eventually makes me bear the burden and burden of my back less. I do not need to be responsible for any problems that I have left, and liberate me morally.
Q: leaving sina is sooner or later. Is it just a question of what way?
A: Yes, is it an active or passive way?

Q: from the current perspective, will you still do that when you left Sina?
A: I'm sure I will, since Sina was established almost from 1993 to later, it has always been like a tightrope walking. It has taken a lot of energy to balance all aspects of strength, all kinds of contradictions.
I dare not break this balance until the market is listed. If we break it, there will be no guarantee for further development.
It is a good time to consider reform after six months of listing. Now looking back, the method may be radical, but basically achieved the original goal. Sina event can make the largest group of people focus on Sina. After exposure to the outside, it is not so easy to make black box operation and make mistakes. At this time, I can leave, and Sina has made several mistakes in recent years. These mistakes are good for Sina, and those mistakes can not be committed in my hands.
Q: in a sense, it's your contribution to Sina.
A: that's the last contribution (laughter).
Q: you say that coming out of sina means graduating. Is this graduation as a professional manager?
Speaking of career capability, I did not really become a professional manager before I had any four connections. When I was not in touch with capital and venture capital, many people around me didn't really believe that the Silicon Valley model could produce a successful company in China. I was persuaded that I was still thinking about technology and things were too simple. Later I was going to be a listed company in China, and I was considered to be a dream by other people. From the four way, Sina should say that my original goal has been achieved, and it has been over fulfilled. I dare not think that there will be such a big Sina company coming out in the extremely difficult environment to achieve the goal, so four four sides have given me the chance. A: No, as a whole venture.
I have learned a lot from the process of creating Sina. I can say that all of them have learned. This time, when I click again, I am completely different from my mind when I am doing four links. In those years, I am sure that besides technology and market orientation, all of them are groping. Now, click to do everything from all sides. Before doing four links, I am doing experiments. Now, martial arts practice has become a new trend.
Q: from the birth of sina to the financing of click technology, your name and capital seem to be indissoluble. How do you view this relationship?
In A:1995, no one knows venture capital in China. I know this noun from the story of a book. From 1995 to 1997, the first financing of the software industry was finished in only two years in the four party. And today, the financial investment of $6 million 500 thousand is still a larger software industry.
And this record is broken by my recent financing. The number of financing is exactly two times that of my last financing, 13 million dollars.
After venture from Sina, many venture capitals have found me. Until I click on this financing every few months, there will be media asking me if I will finance and how much money I have invested. If I do not move, I will have capital phobia.
Financing is not for people to see, but for their own sake. There is no need to act recklessly in order to give others hope.
I have been dragging until now, and I am very stressed. I am going to do it in the right time and in the right way. Some Vc firm have put up with the limit.

A: I think they are.
