Textile Enterprises Closed In September For "Active Technological Pformation"

In August 8th, the Ministry of industry and information technology announced to the society the list of 2087 backward production capacity enterprises in 18 industrial industries, and the backward production capacity of these enterprises must be closed by the end of September this year.

Among them, there are 201 enterprises in the printing and dyeing industry and 25 enterprises in chemical fiber industry.

In the 18 industries that were announced, the number of enterprises that eliminated backward production capacity involved more enterprises: Cement (762), paper making (279), printing and dyeing (201), coke (192), iron making (175), ferroalloy (143), tanning (84).

From the perspective of the implementation of the provinces, the elimination of heavy tasks, involving a large number of enterprises in the provinces: Henan (230), Shanxi (226), Zhejiang (180), Hebei (165), Yunnan (165), Guizhou (128).

From the perspective of textile related industries, the total volume of backward production capacity in printing and dyeing and chemical fiber industry is 3 billion 814 million meters and 673 thousand and 900 tons respectively.

Among them, Zhejiang printing and dyeing chemical fiber industry eliminated the number of backward production capacity in the first place: printing and dyeing 2 billion 148 million meters, chemical fiber 242 thousand tons, accounting for 56% and 36% of the total, and became the largest province in the textile related industries to eliminate backward production capacity.

Henan eliminated printing and dyeing backward production capacity of 500 million meters, ranking second.

In Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, Hebei, Guangdong and other provinces, the number of backward production capacity of printing and dyeing exceeded 100 million meters.

In the second place, Jiangsu chemical fiber eliminated backward production capacity of 165 thousand tons.

In Sichuan, Henan, Fujian, Shanxi, Liaoning, Shandong, Hubei, Xinjiang and other places, the number of backward production capacity of chemical fiber is over 10 thousand tons.

2010 elimination of backward production capacity memorabilia

In late January, Premier Wen Jiabao chaired the executive meeting of the State Council to study and plan to strengthen the elimination of backward production capacity.
