Several Classification Methods Of Fur
There are many methods of fur classification. According to the maturity of the coat, it can be divided into early mature, medium mature, late mature and the most mature. According to the processing mode, it can be divided into tanning, dyeing and finishing, shearing and leather. According to the appearance characteristics, it can be classified into thick fur, with fox fur as the representative, medium thick fur as the representative of mink skin, and thin fur as the representative of Persian Lamb skin.
Nowadays, it is commonly used to divide the hair and cortex into the raw materials. It can be divided into five types:
Fine hairs
It mainly includes sable skin, chipmunk skin (Qing Zilan, green cypress), mink skin, otter skin, sea dragon skin, snow mink, yellow weasel skin, tiger skin, squirrel skin, squirrel skin, musk rat skin, beaver skin, mash skin, etc. the hair is short and soft. Suitable for making wool caps, coats and so on.
Thick skinned
It mainly includes Fox Skins, raccoon skins, lynx skin, badger skins and leopard skins. The amplitude is larger. It is often used for making caps, coats, cloaks, etc.
Coarse grasses
Commonly used are sheepskin, dog skin, wolf skin, leopard skin, marmot skin and so on. The length is longer and the width is larger. It can be used for making hats, coats, vests, clothes and so on.
Hetero grass
Mixed skin grass, including cat skin and rabbit skin, is suitable for clothing accessories, and the price is low.
In 1950s, Balg (George W. Borg) invented artificial fur. Imitation fur is made up of a variety of chemical fibers, which usually include poly (acrylic), dilute polyacrylonitrile, and polyester fibers.
The imitation fur is larger in size and can be brightly colored. In addition, it has the appearance of animal fur, and all kinds of wild and cultured fur can be copied and its price is lower. But its biggest drawback is that it is not environmentally friendly, it is not easy to degrade and pollute the environment.
