The latest statistics from Shantou Customs show that Shantou's general trade clothing exports had a high growth rate of 13.8% in the first half of this year.

The export rebate rate of textiles and clothing has increased by 2% this month, which is expected to increase the export of clothing exports in Shantou.

In the first half of this year, Shantou enterprises exported garments and accessories ($410 million), an increase of 10.2% over the same period last year, which is higher than that of the whole province and the national average in the same period.

The growth is mainly reflected in the doubling of the export trade volume to the EU. The EU has become the second largest market of clothing exports in Shantou.

The export rebate rate of garment export increased by 2% from 1 this month, from 11% to 13%.

Shantou customs believes that this change will lighten the export pressure of garment export enterprises to some extent, and help enterprises to increase exports. Under the stimulation of favorable policies, the growth of garment export in Shantou will enlarge in the second half of this year, showing a further growth trend.
