Import And Export Of Polyester Cord Fabrics May 2008
According to customs statistics, in 2008 May, China exported 2459 tons of cord fabric, an increase of 390 tons compared with April, an increase of 18.86%, an increase of 111.28% compared with the same period last year, and an average export price of 3100 US dollars / ton in that month, down 218 US dollars compared with April, a decrease of -6.58% compared with April, a decrease of 10.48% over the same period last year.
In 2008, 1-5 months, China exported 11943 tons of polyester cord fabrics, an increase of 89.75% over the same period last year. The average export price was 3190 US dollars / ton, down 6.10% from the same period last year.
In May, the import of polyester cord fabric in China was 868 tons, a decrease of 30 tons compared with April, a decrease of 3.34%, an increase of 16.30% over the same period last year, and an average import price of 4004 US dollars / ton, a decrease of 2.25% compared with the same period, an increase of 6.95% over the same period last year.
Before May this year, China imported 4653 tons of polyester cord fabric, an increase of 9.51% over the same period last year, and the average import price was 4038 US dollars / ton, up 7.07% from the same period last year.
