Jinjiang Draft National Standards For Footwear Through Preliminary Examination

Yesterday, I was informed by the Quanzhou quality and Technical Supervision Bureau that the pretrial meeting of the national standards for footwear was held in Xining City, Qinghai Province recently. It includes five national standards: "basketball volleyball professional sports shoes", "rubber shoes, sports shoes outsole no trace test method", "industrial and mining boots", "cloth shoes rubber shoes" and "rubber shoes health and safety technical specification".

Among them, "rubber shoes and sneakers without leaving marks test method" standard is made by the Fujian footwear and footwear quality inspection center (Jinjiang product quality supervision and Inspection Institute) as the main drafting unit.

According to the introduction, the standard is based on the method of testing the shoe outsole without leaving marks on the basis of foreign famous brand shoes. Through the analysis of a large number of shoe sole materials, and combining with the actual situation of our footwear industry, especially the sports shoes industry, we have made no mark test for all kinds of rubber shoes and sneakers. The standard setting has filled the gap of our country, and has a good guiding significance for keeping the beauty of the floor and the management method of extending the life span of sports venues.
