In the Chinese market, thrust is much more important than pull. "Channel driven enterprises" have become the consensus of all. The density of distribution and the arrival rate of channels are the key elements for enterprises to carry out marketing.

In this process, enterprises usually experience three stages of the channel: extensive period, expansion period and intensive cultivation period.

In these three different stages of enterprise development, because of the different ways of doing the channel and the different strategies to dealers, focusing on the current stage of the enterprises helps the clothing dealers to choose the brand, analyze the entry time and recognize their advantages and disadvantages, so as to advance the success of the competition in the competitive market.
