Exports Of Nepalese Clothing To The US Have Declined.
In March, the export volume of garments and garments to Nepal was 66% lower than that of the United States. The United States is the single largest market for Nepalese clothing.

In March, Nepal exported $99.882070 worth of textiles to the United States, compared with $2 million 890 thousand in the same period last year, according to the data provided by the Nepali clothing association.
Nepalese clothing and garment exports continued to decline, indicating that Nepal's garment and garment industry has been on the edge of collapse because the global market has been open to all competitors and is no longer subject to quotas. An industrial insider stressed the need to improve competitiveness in terms of price and quality. Nepal's products need to compete with large suppliers from India and China and other competing countries, such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Kampuchea.
